One line

Pensita is an iPhone app that’s already recording when you open it, so your idea is saved before you’ve found the button.

Short description

Pensita opens recording. Everything you say is transcribed on your iPhone, and you can draw straight onto the camera. Each session becomes a page you can play back word by word, then export to Obsidian, Apple Notes, the Files app or a self-contained website. No account, no server, $4.99 once.

Long description

Most ideas are lost in the few seconds it takes to unlock a phone, pick an app and find the record button. Pensita removes those seconds: open it and it’s already recording video and audio, transcribing as you talk.

Point the camera at what you’re describing and draw on it. A drawing saves itself three seconds after the last stroke, with the camera frame kept as its own layer. Later, Review shows each session as a page, with drawings, photos and clips placed where they happened. Press play and each word is highlighted as it’s spoken.

Exports are plain files: Markdown with embeds for Obsidian, notes for Apple Notes, the originals in the Files app, or a website that opens with a double-click. Optional backups keep a folder current after every session.

Transcription and speaker identification run entirely on the device. There’s no account and no server.
